Jade McGhee – Candidate for Town Council
Welcome, my name is Jade McGhee and here is a little about myself and why I want to become a town councillor!
I am 22 years old and I live in Sydenham with my little boy Jasper who is nearly 6. I love to read Micheal Morpurgo books and listen to most types of music. Most of all I love to spend time with my little boy whether it is painting, playing or baking indoors or going to the park or brook and acting like a big child myself playing on the equipment or splashing around in the water!
The reason I wanted to become a town councillor for the Green Party is because not only is it an amazing opportunity in itself I will get to meet a lot of new amazing people and be a part of helping make the town a better place for everyone.
I feel I can bring a lot to the table if I do become a town councillor. I am great at communicating with people and thinking of new ideas. I also am a great listener and willing to help anyone within my ability to. I am easy going and a very approachable person. I am a keen learner and willing to learn new skills and roles with becoming and being a town councillor. I really do look forward to hopefully working with you all.
